Competent on energy contracts, but communication was inconsistent

I hired Sidney Fowler at Pillsbury to assist with reviewing a complex power purchase agreement for a small renewable project I'm involved with. Sidney's background in Energy Law, including the recognition from Best Lawyers, was evident in the thoroughness of the legal analysis. The contract review itself was solid, and the advice on regulatory compliance points was precise. However, the experience was mixed on the service side. There were several instances where follow-up emails took longer than expected to receive a response, which created some anxiety during our tight negotiation window. While the final work product was technically proficient and met our core legal needs, the overall client experience felt a bit transactional. For straightforward energy law matters, Sidney is certainly knowledgeable, but managing client expectations and communication cadence could be improved.
