Shelby received her BS in legal studies from the University of Providence. She graduated with honors and received her JD from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2020. During her final semester of law school, Shelby returned to Montana and interned at the Cascade County Attorney’s Office under the Montana Student Practice Rule. Following graduation and her admission to the Montana Bar, Shelby practiced family law and estate law at a small firm in Great Falls.Outside of the office, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being on the lake, watching Gonzaga basketball, and spoiling her pets: Lewie, Emee & Wiz. Competent handling of my car accident case

I hired Shelby Stover at Kovacich Snipes Johnson to handle the aftermath of a rear-end collision I was involved in last year. Her background from Gonzaga Law and her recognition in the Best Lawyers in America 'Ones to Watch' list for personal injury were certainly factors in my choice. She demonstrated a solid understanding of the process and the insurance landscape here in Great Falls. The settlement we ultimately reached was fair and covered my medical bills and vehicle repairs adequately. However, my experience was mixed on the communication front. There were periods of several weeks where I received no updates unless I initiated contact, which left me feeling a bit in the dark. While her legal work on the file itself seemed thorough, managing client expectations and providing proactive status reports could be improved. For someone with a relatively straightforward case like mine, she got the job done competently, but the overall client service experience felt more transactional than I had hoped for given her firm's reputation.
