Our institution engaged Sharonda Williams to handle a sensitive matter involving municipal compliance and a contractual dispute with a city vendor. Her dual expertise, both from her extensive litigation background at Fishman Haygood and her in-house role at Loyola, was immediately apparent. She navigated the intricacies of New Orleans municipal law with a confidence that comes from 24 years of practice, and her recognition in litigation was well-earned. Sharonda provided strategic counsel that was both pragmatic and protective of our reputation, securing a favorable resolution without unnecessary escalation. Her deep understanding of the local legal and governmental landscape was invaluable. While her guidance was top-tier, communication timelines could occasionally be delayed, likely due to her demanding dual roles. Overall, she is an exceptional attorney whose real-world experience and sharp legal mind make her a tremendous asset for any organization facing complex challenges in Louisiana.
