A solid, experienced attorney for complex commercial real estate

We engaged Sharon Millians at Kelly Hart & Hallman to assist with the acquisition and financing of a small commercial office building in Fort Worth. Her 44 years of experience in real estate law, particularly her recognized focus on commercial transactions and contracts, was immediately apparent. She expertly navigated the complexities of the title review and the lender's requirements, and her deep knowledge of Texas real estate law was a definite asset. The work product was thorough and precise. However, our experience was mixed on the service side. While ultimately competent, communication sometimes felt delayed, with responses taking longer than expected. For a firm of this caliber, we anticipated a more proactive update cadence. Her expertise is undeniable, especially given her long tenure and SMU law background, but the client service felt more transactional than partnership-oriented. She is a capable attorney who will handle the legal work correctly, but managing expectations around responsiveness would elevate the experience.
