Competent on employment contract, but communication was inconsistent

I engaged Sean Jackson at Ross & McBride LLP to review a complex non-compete agreement for a senior role I was offered. His knowledge of Massachusetts employment law was evident, and his background in Labour and Employment Law, for which he's recognized, provided solid footing. The contract analysis he provided was thorough and identified several potential pitfalls. However, the experience was mixed. There were periods of several days where I received no response to follow-up emails, which added stress during a time-sensitive negotiation. While the final legal work was professionally adequate and he successfully negotiated key clauses, the process felt less collaborative than I had hoped. For straightforward legal review, he is certainly capable, but you may need to manage expectations regarding responsiveness.
