Sean Locklear assisted with a complex NYDFS licensing application for our fintech startup. His knowledge of financial services regulation was evident, and his background with Best Lawyers recognition is well-earned. The legal work was solid. However, responses to emails were sometimes delayed, and we occasionally felt out of the loop on next steps. For straightforward regulatory compliance, he is capable, but the overall client experience could be more streamlined. A good attorney, but set clear communication expectations upfront.
