Competent estate planning, but communication could improve

I hired Mr. Eisenmesser to assist with updating my estate plan, a task made more urgent by the pandemic's uncertainties. His background in taxation from Baruch and his firm's recognition in trusts and estates were evident in the thoroughness of the documents he prepared. The final will and healthcare directives were comprehensive. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. There were periods of several days where I received no response to emails, which added to my anxiety during the process. While his legal advice was sound and he clearly knows this area, managing client expectations on timelines and communication fell short. For straightforward legal work, he is capable, but you may need to be proactive in following up.
