Competent corporate counsel, but communication could improve

I engaged Sarah Scherwitzki of SNP Schlawien Partnerschaft mbB to assist with the formation and initial structuring of a new LLC for my small tech startup. Her background in corporate law was evident; she provided clear, knowledgeable guidance on the operating agreement and liability protections, which gave me confidence in the foundational legal health of the business. Her recognition in the field of corporate law is well-deserved based on the technical competency she displayed. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the final work product was solid, there were noticeable delays in email responses, sometimes taking several business days for a reply, which created anxiety during time-sensitive phases. Additionally, the billing structure, while explained, felt somewhat opaque for a straightforward incorporation project. For complex corporate matters, I believe Sarah's expertise would be a significant asset, and her firm's national reach is impressive. For more routine matters requiring frequent client touchpoints, the process felt less streamlined than I had hoped. She is undoubtedly a capable attorney, but the overall client service experience was merely adequate.
