Competent and knowledgeable, but communication could improve

I hired Sarah Newell at Farrell, Rosenblatt & Russell to handle a complex non-compete agreement dispute for my small business. With over two decades of experience and her recognition in Employment Law - Management, her legal expertise was evident. She understood the nuances of Maine employment law and provided a solid strategy. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. Response times to emails were occasionally slower than expected, and I sometimes had to follow up for updates. While the outcome was satisfactory, the communication throughout could have been more proactive. She is clearly a capable attorney, but the client experience was just adequate.
