Sabrina R. Gallo is Chair of the Miami Products Liability Practice, and a shareholder in the firm’s Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Health Care Litigation Practice. As a trial lawyer in multimillion-dollar litigation, she concentrates her practice on the representation and defense of products liability cases, with an emphasis on representing manufacturers of medical devices and pharmaceuticals in state and federal courts nationwide.
Sabrina has experience managing individual, nationwide and mass tort litigation involving a variety of medical devices including infusion and insulin pumps, mesh, vascular products, and other medical devices and implants, as well as a wide variety of pharmaceuticals including chemotherapy medications and hormone replacement therapy. Her experience also includes representations of clients in clinical trial litigation. Sabrina also regularly counsels manufacturers regarding review and drafting of appropriate warning language for product recalls, reporting and labeling, Medicare Secondary Payer Act compliance and litigation, and other pre-litigation matters.Complementing Sabrina's trial experience is her deep experience in advising clients on complex settlement strategies in mass actions, as well as individual presuit claims and lawsuits.
She provides all-inclusive strategic litigation management and resolution strategies, including assessing the viability of claims to structure defense and resolution strategies that are tailored to the client’s financial needs and overall objectives. She handles both large settlements, serving as national resolution counsel for an international medical device manufacturer, as well as resolutions in smaller, individual matters for her clients.Sabrina leads national teams in complex litigation from pre-suit negotiations up through trial, developing case strategy and all aspects of fact and expert discovery.
