Competent but communication could be more consistent

I hired Mr. Slomski from Burch & Cracchiolo to handle a breach of contract dispute for my small business. His background in commercial litigation was evident, and he was clearly knowledgeable about the legal process. He successfully negotiated a settlement, which was the primary goal. However, the experience felt a bit uneven for a firm of this caliber. There were periods where responses to emails took longer than expected, and at times I felt I had to follow up to get updates on my case. While he is a capable attorney, as his recognitions suggest, managing client expectations and communication proactively would elevate the service. For straightforward matters, he gets the job done.
