Skilled patent litigator, but communication was inconsistent

Russell Levine handled a complex patent infringement dispute for our tech firm. His deep experience, including his recognition as Lawyer of the Year in Patent Law, was evident in his strategic approach to the case. His knowledge of the courtroom and the intricacies of IP law from his decades at Kirkland & Ellis is undeniable, and we achieved a reasonable settlement. However, for a matter of this significance, we sometimes experienced delays in receiving updates or responses to our inquiries. While his legal acumen is top-tier, the overall client service and proactive communication felt more transactional than expected given his stature and the firm's reputation.
