His experience includes representing buyers and sellers of individual hotel assets, portfolios and management companies, negotiating management agreements involving virtually all of the major hotel brands as well as independent operators, and assisting borrowers in complex financing arrangements. He also counsels clients on hotel franchise agreements and branded residential license agreements as well as equity investments in and recapitalizations of hospitality assets. Ron uses his hospitality industry knowledge and real-world experience to provide smart, practical advice to his clients and help them achieve their business objectives.In addition to his strong concentration in hospitality, Ron focuses on other commercial real estate transactions, including in the multifamily, senior living, student housing, office and retail sectors. He represents real estate sponsors and financial partners in the formation of joint ventures for both development projects (including within opportunity zones) and operating assets, including for one-off joint ventures, programmatic relationships, and preferred equity ventures. He also represents buyers and sellers in acquiring and disposing of assets.A native New Yorker, Ron has lived in both New York and Florida and is admitted to practice in both states.
