Thomas Baker
I engaged Ronald Golden and Bayard PA to handle a patent infringement matter in the District of Delaware. Mr. Golden's deep familiarity with the local court and his technical grasp of the patent issues were evident. His background in complex patent litigation, as reflected in his professional recognitions, provided solid footing for our case strategy. The work product on the claim construction briefs was thorough and well-reasoned. However, the experience was mixed from a client management perspective. While ultimately competent, there were periods where communication lags made it difficult to feel fully in the loop. Responses to non-urgent emails sometimes took several days, and updates felt more reactive than proactive. For a matter spanning over a year, a more consistent touchpoint schedule would have been appreciated. His legal analysis is sound, and he clearly knows this specific niche, but the client service aspect felt just adequate. He is a capable attorney for the technical side of Delaware patent disputes, but managing expectations around responsiveness is advisable.
