Ron Harnden’s practice includes business, commercial and real estate matters. In recent years, he has been heavily involved in representing clients in the purchase, exchange, sale, leasing and development of real estate and real estate improvements; financing transactions; the acquisition and sale of businesses; in a variety of other contract matters; and in analyzing and advising clients concerning many topics pertaining to their business and personal affairs. Mr. Harnden was born in Liberal, Kansas, and graduated from Southwestern College, Winfield, Kansas in 1970. He obtained his law degree at Washburn University School of Law in 1973, where he served on the Board of Editors of the Washburn Law Journal. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Harnden served for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Alfred G. Schroeder, a Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court. A solid, experienced attorney for business matters

I hired Ron Harnden to assist with the acquisition of a small commercial property in Wichita. His 50+ years of experience and recent 'Lawyer of the Year' recognitions in real estate were major factors in my choice. He was undoubtedly competent in handling the transaction details and his knowledge of local regulations was evident. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. Communication was adequate but not proactive; I often had to follow up for updates, and response times could be slow. For straightforward business or real estate matters, his deep expertise provides a reliable foundation. Just be prepared to manage your own expectations regarding client communication and the pace of the process.
