A steady hand through a complex university contract dispute

I sought Mr. Cannella's counsel regarding a significant contractual disagreement between my small business and a local university. His deep, 50+ years of experience in Nebraska law, particularly his recognized expertise in higher education law, was immediately apparent. As a native Nebraskan and a Creighton graduate who has practiced at Fitzgerald Schorr his entire career, he possesses an invaluable understanding of both the legal landscape and the local institutions. He guided our case with a calm, strategic approach that leveraged his extensive background in litigation and labor management. While his billing is commensurate with his stature and experience, which is to be expected, communication response times could occasionally be a day or two slower than ideal during non-critical phases. That said, his counsel was precise, and his negotiation resulted in a highly favorable settlement without the need for protracted court proceedings. I have great confidence in his judgment and would recommend him for any complex matter involving educational institutions or labor issues.
