Competent on environmental compliance, but communication was inconsistent

I engaged Bob Stewart at Kelly Hart & Hallman to assist with a complex permitting issue for a small industrial facility in Fort Worth. His deep knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and administrative procedures was immediately apparent. With nearly two decades of experience and his recognition in environmental litigation, he was well-equipped to navigate the TCEQ process. The legal strategy he developed was sound and ultimately helped us reach a resolution. However, the experience was mixed. While Bob himself was sharp, there were significant delays in receiving updates, and responses to emails often took several days. At times, I felt I had to follow up repeatedly to get clarity on next steps. For straightforward regulatory compliance, his expertise from the University of Michigan Law School is undeniable. Yet, for clients who prioritize consistent, proactive communication, the service level felt merely adequate. He knows the law cold, but the client management aspect could be improved.
