Expert guidance through a complex zoning dispute

Our company retained Robert Fine to navigate a contentious zoning variance application for a mixed-use development in Coral Gables. From the outset, his deep knowledge of Miami's intricate land use regulations was evident. His unique background, blending a design education from RISD with over a decade of focused legal practice, gave him a distinct advantage; he understood both the architectural intent and the legal hurdles. His recognition as a 'Lawyer of the Year' in this field is well-deserved. Robert crafted a compelling case for the Planning Board, anticipating opposition arguments and preparing thorough rebuttals. His strategic approach and relationships within local government, another area he's recognized for, were invaluable in moving the process forward efficiently. The outcome was favorable, securing the variances we needed with minimal concessions. The only slight critique would be that during the busiest periods, response times from his assistant could occasionally lag a day. However, when directly engaged, Robert himself was always sharp and decisive. I highly recommend him for any complex land use or zoning litigation in South Florida.
