Skilled and strategic counsel for our startup acquisition

We engaged Robert Goodin at Kirkland & Ellis to handle the acquisition of our Austin-based tech startup. Despite his relatively short time at the firm, his preparation was exceptional. He clearly leveraged the firm's deep resources and his recognized expertise in venture capital and M&A law. Robert explained complex terms in a way our founders could understand and was a fierce negotiator on key points. His guidance from UT Law and focus on Texas business law was a perfect fit. Our only minor critique is that during the final due diligence push, response times occasionally slowed, likely due to his workload. Overall, he delivered excellent value and a successful outcome.
