Competent but could improve communication

I hired Robert "Bob" Massie for a complex product liability case, and he certainly knew his way around the legal intricacies involved. His experience in mass tort litigation was evident, especially given his recognition as Lawyer of the Year in product liability defense. However, while his expertise was clear, I found his communication style somewhat detached. Responses to my queries were thorough but often delayed, which left me feeling a bit out of the loop. The firm's reputation is strong, and I have no doubt his legal strategy was solid, but I would have appreciated more timely updates. Overall, a competent attorney, but communication is an area where he could improve.
