Expert guidance through a complex regulatory approval process

I engaged Rob Munnelly at Davis, Malm & D'Agostine to assist my company with navigating the complex state and federal regulatory approvals required for a new distributed energy project. His background in energy regulatory law was immediately apparent. He didn't just handle the legal filings; he provided a clear strategic roadmap, explaining the interplay between the Massachusetts DPU requirements and federal FERC regulations in a way our business team could understand. His experience, including his contributions to the Massachusetts Administrative Law and Practice guide, gave us immense confidence. Rob was thorough, proactive in identifying potential hurdles, and his negotiation with the regulatory bodies was effective. The matter was resolved successfully, allowing our project to proceed on schedule. The only slight drawback was that during peak periods, response times to non-urgent emails could occasionally stretch to a day or two, but for substantive matters, he was always accessible. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any business facing regulatory challenges in the energy or communications sectors.
