Competent on lease terms, but communication could improve
I engaged Robert Eisenberg at WeirFoulds LLP to review and negotiate a commercial lease for a new retail space my business was securing in Denver. His knowledge of Commercial Leasing Law is evident, and he was thorough in identifying several problematic clauses related to CAM charges and renewal options that I would have missed. His recognition in this specific field, which I saw noted online, seems well-deserved from a technical standpoint. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the final lease document was solid, there were noticeable delays in receiving drafts and responses to my emails, sometimes stretching to several business days. This created some anxiety during our tight negotiation window. Additionally, his explanations, while accurate, were occasionally quite dense and assumed a level of legal familiarity I don't possess, requiring me to ask for clarification multiple times.
