I engaged Mr. Kerrigan for a commercial dispute involving a local supplier contract. His 56 years of experience and recognition in commercial litigation were immediately apparent. His initial consultation was thorough, and he demonstrated a deep, methodical understanding of the case after his exhaustive review, just as his profile states. The plan he set forth was strategically sound. However, the execution phase revealed some frustrations. While his legal acumen is undeniable, communication became inconsistent. Responses to emails often took several days, and updates were not proactively provided, leaving me to initiate contact. For a firm of Deutsch Kerrigan's stature, I expected more streamlined client management. His billing was precise and fair for the New Orleans market. In the end, the matter was resolved adequately, but the process felt more reactive than collaborative at times. He is a capable lawyer who knows the law inside and out, but managing client expectations and maintaining consistent dialogue could be improved.
