Bob deRosset serves clients primarily in the fields of construction, business, and product liability law. He tries cases at the state and federal level in North and South Carolina. He is certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission to conduct mediated settlement conferences in Superior Court cases and uses his perspective as a seasoned litigator to assist parties to voluntarily resolve their disputes through mediation.
Bob has also completed collaborative law training and advanced collaborative law training. He is part of the effort in North Carolina to expand collaborative law into construction and business law. He serves as current Chair of the ALFA International Construction Practice Group and is also active within ALFAI’s Product Liability & Complex Torts Practice Group.
He is recognized in North Carolina Super Lawyers® in the area of Construction Litigation and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.Prior to joining Young Moore in 2001, Bob practiced law for two years in Columbia, South Carolina and served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in León, Nicaragua. When he is not working for his clients, Bob enjoys trail running, or running on the streets and greenways of Raleigh. He is a novice ultra-marathoner who has not yet run one too many races.
