I engaged Rick Holzworth to represent me in a complex dispute involving the administration of my late uncle's estate, where a corporate trustee was alleged to have mismanaged assets. His professional background in fiduciary litigation, particularly his recognition in trusts and estates litigation, was evident. He demonstrated a solid grasp of the procedural nuances in the Orphans' Court and his 13 years of experience showed during settlement negotiations. Ultimately, we reached an acceptable resolution. However, my experience was mixed. While Rick is clearly knowledgeable, there were periods where communication lagged significantly—emails would sometimes go unanswered for a week, and it was difficult to get updates on case status without my own proactive follow-ups. The legal work itself was sound, but the client service aspect felt just adequate. For straightforward, high-stakes fiduciary matters, his expertise from Heckscher Teillon is valuable, but be prepared to manage your expectations regarding responsiveness and the flow of information.
