Competent but Room for Improvement

Mr. Cheney handled a complex insurance claim dispute for me, leveraging his recognized expertise in Insurance Law. While his technical knowledge was evident—especially regarding policy interpretations—his responsiveness left something to be desired. There were occasional delays in returning calls or emails, which, while not debilitating, did make the process feel slower than anticipated. Additionally, while he was thorough in his approach, I sometimes felt he could have been more proactive in communicating next steps. That said, his deep understanding of construction and infrastructure law came into play when navigating the nuances of the claim, which ultimately led to a favorable resolution. It’s clear he’s well-regarded in his field, but a little more personal engagement would have elevated the experience. Solid attorney, but with room to refine client communication.
