Competent but communication could be more consistent

I engaged Rebecca Falk at Brach Eichler to assist with a business contract review for a small medical supply company I'm involved with. Given her recognition in Health Care Law, I felt confident she had the relevant expertise, which she demonstrated in her analysis of the regulatory clauses. Her legal advice was sound and she clearly understood the nuances from her background. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the final work product was thorough, there were periods where communication lagged. Responses to follow-up emails sometimes took several days, which created anxiety during our negotiation timeline. I also found some of the billing explanations to be less detailed than I would have preferred for the fees incurred. For straightforward legal matters, particularly those touching on healthcare, she is certainly capable. My expectations for a more proactive and responsive client experience, especially from a firm of this caliber, were not fully met. She is a knowledgeable attorney fresh out of law school, but the overall service felt more transactional than collaborative.
