We engaged Randy Rompola at Barnes & Thornburg to assist our town with a general obligation bond issue for infrastructure. His deep expertise in public finance law, honed over three decades, was evident. He clearly understood the nuances of Indiana municipal finance, and his recognition as a former Lawyer of the Year in this field is well-deserved. The legal work product was solid. However, our experience was mixed. While Randy himself was knowledgeable, we often experienced significant delays in receiving responses to our emails and calls, which were typically handled by junior staff. For straightforward matters, his firm gets the job done, but if you require highly responsive, direct partner communication, you may need to set very clear expectations upfront.
