Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

I hired Randall Saunders of Nelson Mullins to assist with a complex commercial dispute involving a former business partner. His 20 years of experience and recognition in Commercial Litigation were evident from the start. He had a firm grasp of the legal intricacies, and his background from the University of Kentucky College of Law provided a solid foundation for his strategy. The matter was resolved with a satisfactory outcome, which I attribute to his legal acumen and understanding of West Virginia business law. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While his legal work was sound, the communication throughout the process was not as consistent as I would have preferred. There were times when responses to emails took several days, and updates on case developments sometimes felt like an afterthought rather than a proactive part of client service. For the premium rate, I expected a more seamless flow of information. Mr. Saunders is undoubtedly a knowledgeable attorney, particularly in the areas of commercial and consumer law for which he's recognized, but the administrative and client-relation aspects of the service felt merely adequate. He is a good lawyer who got the job done, but the overall experience didn't fully meet my expectations for a firm of this caliber.
