Knowledgeable but communication could be more consistent

Mr. Ribbert handled a licensing and distribution agreement for a documentary film I was producing. His deep knowledge of entertainment law, particularly the regulatory aspects, was evident. He is clearly an expert in his field, and his long tenure at Greenberg Traurig and recognition by Best Lawyers gave me confidence. The final contract was solid. However, the process felt a bit disjointed at times, likely due to his split practice between Detroit and Amsterdam. Responses to emails sometimes took longer than expected, and I occasionally had to follow up for updates. While the legal work was competent, the client service aspect felt just adequate. He's a skilled attorney, but managing expectations on communication would elevate the experience.
