I engaged R. Ian Macdonald at Gowling WLG for guidance on a potential anti-competitive practice issue my small business faced with a larger supplier. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. While his advice was technically sound, there were notable delays in receiving follow-up correspondence, and I sometimes had to prompt for updates. For straightforward antitrust advice, he is certainly capable, but the overall client service and proactive communication didn't quite match the level of his recognized expertise. A good attorney, but the process could be smoother.
