Experienced and knowledgeable, but communication was inconsistent

I hired Mr. Akmajian for a complex medical malpractice case after seeing his 'Lawyer of the Year' recognition. His 41 years of experience in Tucson and deep knowledge of Arizona law were evident. He understood the nuances of my case immediately. However, the process felt less personal than I expected. While his legal strategy was sound, there were often significant delays in getting responses to my emails or calls, which added to my stress. His firm is clearly reputable, and the outcome of my case was ultimately fair, but managing client expectations and maintaining consistent communication could be improved. For straightforward legal matters, his expertise is undeniable, but be prepared for a somewhat hands-off communication style.
