Competent handling of family business succession planning

Paul Lawler assisted our family with the succession planning for our small manufacturing business, a task that involved both business structuring and estate considerations. His deep experience in closely held companies and trusts was evident, and his long-standing recognition in those fields is well-deserved. The legal strategy he developed was sound. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal at times. Communication was primarily through his paralegal, and responses to our emails could take several business days.
