Competent defense work, but communication could improve

Paul McGoldrick at Shorall McGoldrick handled my company's defense in a recent slip-and-fall claim. His background in insurance law and his recognition in personal injury litigation for defendants was evident; he clearly understood the nuances of the case and achieved a reasonable settlement. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While his legal strategy was sound, there were periods where communication lagged, making it difficult to get timely updates on case developments. Responses to emails sometimes took several days. For straightforward defense matters, his eight years of experience and firm reputation provide solid representation, but managing client expectations on the process side could be stronger. He's capable, but the service aspect felt just adequate.
