I engaged Paola Bruzzone Goldsmith of Bruzzone & González Abogados to assist with the corporate governance restructuring of my small tech firm in San Francisco. Her expertise in Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice was evident; she provided a solid framework for our new board protocols and shareholder agreements. The documents were thorough and reflected her recognized knowledge in this area. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal work itself was competent, there were noticeable delays in email responses, sometimes taking several business days for a reply on time-sensitive matters. This created some anxiety during the process. Furthermore, while Paola was professional, the explanations of certain M&A-adjacent implications for our future growth felt a bit rushed in our final meeting, leaving me with a few follow-up questions I had to clarify later. For straightforward corporate governance work, she delivers capable service, but managing client expectations on timelines and ensuring clear, proactive communication could elevate the client experience significantly.
