Competent on employment law, but communication could improve

I hired Nancy Arencibia at Jackson Lewis to advise my small business on navigating the complex return-to-work policies and vaccine mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her recognition in employment law management was evident; she provided legally sound guidance that kept us compliant. Her experience, including her background from Seton Hall, gave me confidence in her analysis. However, the experience was a mixed bag. While the final work product was thorough, there were often significant delays in email responses, sometimes stretching to several business days, which was stressful when we needed timely answers. The billing was also higher than initially anticipated. She is clearly knowledgeable in her field, as her accolades suggest, but the overall client service and management of expectations felt merely adequate for the premium rate.
