Morgan K. Stippel is an associate at Burns Bair LLP. Prior to joining the firm, she served on the Board of Directors for one of Madison’s oldest law firms and specialized in civil litigation. Ms. Stippel has experience representing clients in state and federal cases and navigating all aspects of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, mediation, trial, and appeals. She currently works on a wide range of matters against insurance companies, and her background gives her a unique, well-rounded perspective that allows her to provide the highest level of advocacy to her clients and achieve their goals.Ms. Stippel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin–River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She went on to earn her juris doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School with cum laude honors. During law school, Ms. Stippel held internships with the Economic Justice Institute’s Family Court Clinic, a Madison law firm, and Judge William M. Conley of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. She also participated in numerous extracurricular activities. Ms. Stippel served as a Senior Managing Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Journal of Law, Gender & Society, served as the Vice President of Outreach on the mock trial team, and served as an alternate on the moot court team. In addition, her peers elected her to the Student Bar Association where she chaired the Public Service Committee and connected the law school with the greater Madison area community by organizing events like the Early Childhood Learning Center’s annual Thanksgiving dinner and the middle school mock trial competition.Ms. Stippel takes pride in her active involvement in the legal community. She is an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School where she teaches trial advocacy to mock trial students and coaches its mock trial teams at competitions. For three consecutive years, she served on the Board for the Dane County Legal Association for Women and organized its annual “I Resolve” Fundraiser to benefit Domestic Abuse Intervention Services. Ms. Stippel has also provided pro bono services through Legal Action of Wisconsin by authoring pardon applications and volunteering at expungement clinics.
