Competent and experienced, but communication could improve

His 35 years of experience and recognition in Commercial Litigation were evident; his grasp of the legal strategy was solid, and his arguments were well-founded. The matter was resolved with a satisfactory outcome. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. While I never doubted his expertise, there were periods where communication was slower than I expected, with updates often requiring my follow-up. For straightforward legal needs, his deep knowledge of North Carolina law and appellate practice is a clear asset. My expectations for a more responsive client-attorney dynamic, given the firm's reputation, were only partially met. He is undoubtedly a skilled lawyer, but the service aspect felt merely adequate.
