A solid, experienced attorney for complex commercial matters

We engaged Michael Botnick from Gordon Arata to handle a significant contract dispute with a vendor that was impacting our New Orleans-based business. His 50 years of experience, particularly in commercial litigation and contracts, was immediately evident. He provided a thorough analysis of our position and his background in mediation offered a pragmatic perspective. The outcome was ultimately favorable. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal at times. While his expertise is undeniable, as noted in his recognition for commercial litigation, communication could be sporadic. We sometimes waited longer than expected for updates, and the billing structure, while standard for a firm of this caliber, was a point we had to clarify more than once. For highly complex matters, his deep knowledge is an asset, but be prepared to manage the client relationship proactively.
