A strategic and formidable advocate in complex commercial litigation

Our company faced a high-stakes, multi-party commercial dispute involving significant regulatory and environmental compliance questions. We engaged Michael Heister based on his deep experience and his firm's strong reputation. From our first meeting, his command of the intricate legal and technical details was evident. He didn't just litigate; he developed a comprehensive strategy that accounted for both the courtroom and the regulatory landscape. His background in energy regulatory law proved invaluable in navigating overlapping agency requirements. Michael is exceptionally sharp, a clear communicator, and his 23 years of practice showed in his calm, decisive guidance throughout the stressful process. The result was a highly favorable settlement that protected our interests completely. His recognition in commercial litigation and appellate practice is well-deserved. We cannot recommend him highly enough.
