Competent but communication could be more consistent

I hired Matthew Gordon at Senn Fortis to handle the sale of my small business in Denver. With his 15 years in general practice, he certainly knew the legal landscape. The contract work was solid, and he identified several potential issues I hadn't considered. However, my experience was mixed. While he was thorough in our initial meeting, follow-up communication was sometimes slow, with emails taking several days for a response during critical phases. There were also a few instances where I felt I had to follow up to get clarity on next steps, which added some unnecessary stress to the process. He is clearly knowledgeable and got the job done correctly, but for the premium rate, I expected more proactive updates and a smoother client experience. He's a capable attorney, but managing client expectations and responsiveness seems to be an area for improvement.
