Competent on corporate governance, but communication could improve

I engaged Matthew Geduldig at Proskauer Rose for guidance on a board committee charter review and related compliance matters. His knowledge of corporate governance is evident, and his recognition in that field is well-deserved. The work product was solid and technically correct. However, for a matter of this nature, I expected more proactive communication and slightly quicker turnarounds on draft revisions. There were a few instances where I had to follow up for status updates. For straightforward compliance questions, he is a reliable resource, but managing client expectations on process and timing could be enhanced. He is clearly capable, especially for an attorney with his level of experience.
