Competent in class action defense, but communication was inconsistent

Mary Smith defended our company in a recent employment-related class action. Her expertise in mass tort litigation was evident, and her recognition in the field is well-deserved. She understood the complexities and provided a solid defense strategy. However, the experience was mixed. There were periods where we waited days for updates on key developments, and some explanations of legal strategy felt rushed. While the outcome was ultimately favorable, the process could have been smoother with more proactive communication. She is a capable attorney, but managing client expectations is an area for improvement.
