We engaged Martin Thériault and his team at Norton Rose Fulbright to assist with the refinancing of a commercial real estate portfolio. His twelve years of experience in banking and finance law were evident; he was thorough in reviewing the credit agreements and his knowledge of the regulatory landscape was solid. It's clear why he's recognized in that specific field. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. While the legal work itself was competent, we often experienced delays in receiving responses to our emails, sometimes waiting several days for clarifications on time-sensitive points. For straightforward, complex financial structuring, Martin provides adequate service, but managing client expectations and maintaining consistent communication channels could be enhanced to match the firm's high-caliber reputation.
