Invaluable Counsel for Complex Energy and Land Use Issues

Our company faced a high-stakes, multi-faceted dispute involving mineral rights, surface use agreements, and compliance with Colorado's evolving environmental regulations. The complexity was daunting. We engaged Mark Mathews based on his long-standing reputation in Denver's energy sector, and it was the best decision we could have made. His 38 years of experience, particularly his deep focus on oil and gas and land use law, were immediately apparent. Mark didn't just react to the legal challenges; he provided strategic, forward-thinking counsel that anticipated regulatory hurdles. His background in natural resources law and the recognition he's received, like his listing in Who's Who in Energy, proved to be more than just accolades—they reflected a practitioner who truly understands the industry's landscape. Mark and his team at Brownstein Hyatt navigated the dispute with exceptional skill, securing an outcome that protected our operations and provided a stable framework for future development. His professionalism and command of the details are unmatched.
