Knowledgeable but Communication Could Improve

Mark MacDougall is clearly a seasoned attorney with impressive credentials. His 39 years in practice and recognition as one of the Best Lawyers in Criminal Defense: White-Collar is evident in his courtroom expertise. I sought his help for a complex white-collar investigation, and his experience was invaluable. However, my experience was slightly marred by slower-than-expected responses to emails and occasional delays in returning calls. While he was thorough in preparing my case, I had to follow up multiple times for updates. The legal strategy was solid, and I ultimately had a favorable outcome, but the communication could have been more consistent. For someone with his level of expertise, maintaining regular contact would elevate the experience. His deep knowledge of criminal defense law is unquestionable, and I appreciate the effort he put into my case, but the communication gaps were noticeable.
