I hired Mark Bloomquist from Meagher + Geer to handle a dispute with a contractor over significant foundation issues on a commercial property I own. With his 38 years of experience and recognition in construction and real estate law, I felt confident in his technical expertise. He understood the complexities of the case immediately and his advice on strategy was sound. Ultimately, we reached a settlement that protected my interests. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal. There were times when responses to emails took longer than expected, and I occasionally had to follow up for updates. While I appreciate his deep knowledge, especially given his background representing architects and engineers, clearer communication about timelines and next steps would have made a significant difference. He is undoubtedly a skilled attorney, but managing client expectations is an area for improvement.
