Competent on the case, but communication could improve

I hired Mark Abradjian at Ross & McBride LLP for a breach of contract dispute with a former business partner. His background in Corporate and Commercial Litigation was evident; he understood the nuances of our case quickly and his analysis of the contract was sharp. It's clear why he's recognized in this area. The legal strategy he drafted was solid and we achieved a satisfactory settlement. However, my experience was a mixed bag. While the final outcome was good, there were periods of several days where I received no updates on developments, which was frustrating when you're anxious about a business matter. Responses to emails were sometimes slower than I'd hoped. For straightforward commercial disputes, Mark is certainly capable and knowledgeable, but managing client expectations and proactive communication could be stronger. He's a good lawyer who gets the job done, though the process itself felt a bit impersonal at times.
