Knowledgeable but communication could be more consistent

Marie Monroe assisted my small business with forming an LLC and navigating some initial tax considerations. Her deep knowledge in business organizations and her LL.M. in Taxation from NYU were evident, and her recognition in Best Lawyers is well-deserved. The legal work itself was thorough. However, the experience felt somewhat transactional. Response times to emails were occasionally slower than expected, and while she explained the necessary steps, I sometimes felt I had to proactively seek updates. For straightforward business structuring, her 24 years of experience at Merline & Meacham provide solid competence, but I hoped for a more consistently communicative partnership.
