Competent tax advice, but communication could improve

Maria Margarita provided solid guidance on a cross-border tax issue between my business in Charlotte and operations in Colombia. Her recognition in Tax Law was evident in her thorough analysis. However, the process felt somewhat impersonal, with occasional delays in email responses that added to my stress. While the legal outcome was satisfactory, managing expectations on timelines and having more direct access would have enhanced the experience. She is clearly knowledgeable, but the client service aspect felt just adequate for the complexity of the matter.
